I'm sorry, I just can't help it!!! I was in tears last night and feel like I'm going through a little depression right now. *sigh* Don't worry, though, we will survive him together! :)
And we will do more than survive, we will conquer! They have not won! God has heard our prayers, and good will come out of this. We have not lost the fight, we have just taken a hard knock. And this is almost a good thing, believe it or not. How many people do you think would keep praying, repenting and converting if McCain had won? 0! We would have just sighed with relief and gone on living our lives as before. But this seeming defeat ironically gives people a reason and an inspiration to change! To change their hearts and the way they have been living their lives and turn back to God!
Wow, that was the most profound thing I've ever said! Hmm, maybe I shall put it as a blog post.... :) lol, I am probably the most cheerful person I know right now, because I somehow I knew that Obama would win, so I had already resigned myself. *pats Vicki on the back* Pray, Hope, and don't Worry!
Great comment Rose! I knew Obama would win, but I don't think I was resigned to it yet....and I'm still trying to be! I will try to do what you said and pray some more! Love ya!
Aw, Vicki, don't be so depressed! *hugs* Maybe he'll get the nation into so much trouble they'll impeach him! (Or assasinate him =P Oooh, that gives me an idea! Muahahaha...) AAAAAAAA!! NOW THEY'RE ARRESTING ME FOR SAYING THAT! NOOOOOOOOOO!! I DIDN'T MEEEEEEAN IT!!!!!!
*cough* Must be more serious, or Vicki will bann me from her blog....
Lady Rose, an excellent comment! What you mentioned is interesting but profound...that's Obama's election may indeed move us to change (just not the kind he talks about!), to bond and unite as a people of God fortified and sharpened and armed to resist potential evil.
And yes, Padre Pio has the best advice for these situations!
*cough* Lanta... I wouldn't talk of such things on the internet, or on phones. Seriously, the FBI screens both telephone calls (Yes, every single one) AND the internet for *cough* assasination plots and other things. So, er, I wouldn't talk about things like that, 'k?
