Happy SAD (Single Awareness Day)!!!
Okay, not really. ;) Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
For all of us single people, this day can be depressing...if you let it be. This year for some reason - maybe because I'm getting older - I feel more disappointed than previous years that I don't have my special guy to spend the day with.
However, it dawned on me that I do have a date...JESUS! What better guy could you ask for? In addition, tonight I'm planning on Hannah and I taking our Valentine candy upstairs, getting in our PJ's, cuddle up on my bed, and watch My Big, Fat, Greek Wedding (skipping the bedroom scenes of course)!
So, I challenge all of you single girls to make this day special with Jesus and do something fun! Don't spend it moping. Single guys, if you are able to take you single sister(s) out for dinner and make it special for them.

Friends
Yesterday, my family and I were blessed to be able to spend a few hours with the Halbur family who stopped by our house on their way home. (Some of you may follow Claire’s or Sarah’s blog.) It was my mom's and brothers' first time to meet them, and sadly I have no pictures to show you. My bad.
We girls had a delightful time chatting and catching up with each other. It was nice to see Sarah whom I hadn't seen since camp...I take that back, I did see her in January but not in April when I went down for the Conference. Claire did a gorgeous up-do on my hair; it looked like a wedding hair style. :)My brothers must have had a great time with David Halbur since they were off and out of sight most of the time!
To finish off their visit, we played a couple rounds of Bananas - I highly recommend that game - and Uno. Oh yes, we also closed with the Angelus. We girls had fun singing Phantom of the Opera as they piled into the car and drove away. It was a wonderful close to the visit.
I hope to find a way to see them soon, because I won’t be going to camp this year. *sheds a few tears* I didn’t think it would be hard to stop going to camp; however, the closer we get to camp, the sadder I become. I suppose I will get over it, but I’m going to miss everyone so much. Pray for me, that I will be able to give this suffering (as little as it may seem) up to Christ.

The Chocolate Calculator.
This is so weird, and it works everytime!!!!! Try it out; it's so much fun! :D
1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to have chocolate (more than once but less than 10).
2. Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold).
3. Add 5.
4. Multiply it by 50 -- I'll wait while you get the calculator...
5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1759 .
If you haven't, add 1758.
6. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born.
You should have a three digit number (unless your # was 10.)
The first digit of this was your original number
(i.e., how many times you want to have chocolate each week).
The next two numbers are
YOUR AGE! (Oh YES, it is!!!!!)
THIS IS THE ONLY YEAR (2009) IT WILL EVER WORK.

What to do....
...I'm bored. Nobody is posting over at the forum, mom and dad are gone shopping, and there is absolutely, positively, nothing to do!!!! Of course, I could go read the Fellowship, but....I don't' feel like reading. And I could post my FBI pictures (not that I could outdo Paul),but I am embarrassed to post them. Oh well. Hey! Here are some funny LOTR pictures (and one about Jack Sparrow) I found! Hehehe!!! In case you can't read the words I'll post them underneath each photo.

Something Fun
My partner Turner had this on her blog, and since it looked fun and I had nothing else to post, I thought I would do it as well!

4. What is the most recent movie you've seen in the theater: Prince Caspian. Too bad there hasn't been anything appropriate to watch......I NEED SOMETHING NEW TO WATCH IN THE THEATER!!!

7. Favorite NEW foods: Same as Amanda... what in the world are NEW foods? I suppose food that was made today? As opposed to old food that was made a week ago? Well, in that case... the hot dogs we had about ten minutes ago.
