Sacra Cor anyone?

Hehehe! Lizzy and I went to the Catholic Home school Conference in Michigan to pick up some items for Mom and buy Regina Doman's newest book: Alex O'Donnell and the 40 Cyberthieves. The picture is Mr. Andrew's (Regina's husband) brothers Jake and John. I love the trench coat and jacket! Unfortunately they were not wearing super hero suits as we had hoped *sigh* oh well. ;)

Anyway, I loved the book - although I have some quarrels with Kateri - and would encourage one and all to read it! Waking Rose still continues to be my all time favorite...you just can't beat Rose and Fish.

Happy 17th Birthday Rachel!

Rachel, you are such a dear and wonderful friend. I'm so glad God brought you into my life. We've shared so many laughs, tears, jokes, stories, school work, and to think that we have only known each other for a little over a year! You are a talented, beautiful, and precious woman of God, don't ever change. I pray that your day was filled with many blessings and birthday cheers. God bless you!

Happy Father's Day!...Belated

I worked yesterday from 1-8:43 (most frustrating day of work I have ever had, but never mind that now). So that's why this and the next post are a day late. My apologies.

I LOVE YOU DADDY!

Thank you so much for everything you have done for me and continue to do. I don't know where I would be if it wasn't for you love, support, and wisdom. Thank you for being...Dad.

Question for Pro-Choice Feminists

You may or may not be aware of the political battle being fought right now by Feminist and pro-choice Barbra Boxer and pro-life Carly Fiorina. These two women are battling for the California seat in the Senate.

In a recent post or email (I'm not sure which), EMILY's List - a pro-abortion organization that is supporting Boxer - stated:

When it comes to our issues -- from women's rights to the environment to health care -- Barbara has been at the forefront of change since we helped elect her in 1992, the "Year of the Woman." She's been there for us every step of the way, and now it's our chance to return the favor.

Thanks for all you're doing to help our women fight back and continue making change.

Stop.

Here is my question to all feminists and Barbra Boxer: You say you fight for the woman...have you ever given any thought to the little unborn woman? Think of all the thousands of little women that you could support. What about them? If you love and support the female sex as much as you claim to, why don't you try to defend it instead of destroy it?!

The ignorance and arrogance of these feminists just infuriates and blows my mind away. I guess you have to be a Survivor '73 in order to be worth defending in our society.

Remember: Patriotism defends life.

I'm a what?

Apparently I am a Melancholic - Phlegmatic. Sounds like something out of a Biology book doesn't it? Like a bacteria or virus. :P

Actually it's my temperament according to 4marks.com. A result of the 107 questions I had to answer (they go some weird ones too), I am a Melancholic / Phlegmatic. To read the description go here: http://www.4marks.com/temperaments/melancholic/melancholic_phlegmatic.html

Some of it is accurate some of it's not. I was expecting to come out with at least one of them Sanguine (people person), but that was not the case.

For those of you who have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about, there are four different types of temperaments: Choleric, Melancholic, Phlegmatic, and Sanguine. If you want to take the test or just read about them go here: http://www.4marks.com/temperaments.html

I've never cared for the whole temperament thing, but a friend had me do it the other day and I actually found it interesting...and the questions on the test amusing. So, check it out. There is also an article on there about why Catholics should know there temperament.

Have fun!
