Yes, Rachel and Emmy departed yesterday. 'Twas a sad goodbye, but said with hope that we would be getting together sometime soon. We had a such a wonderful week of Chinese food, movies, late nights, LOTS of McDonalds Frappes, shopping, a Regency Ball which involved, make-up, hair, dresses, ribbon, and more! It was such a memorable week. I miss you two so much! As soon as Emmy uploads all the pictures onto Facebook *hint, hint* I will post them on my blog.

ALERT! ALERT! URGENT!
Dear readers,
Our country is at a crucial point: Will our nation fund abortion through a so called "health care reform" bill or not?
On Sunday (the Lord's day), the decision will be made; the House of Representatives will vote, and if the bill passes it will become law.
In summary, I am begging all registered voters to call their Representatives and urge them to vote a hearty "NO" on the bill. The least we can do to insure the protection of the most innocent of human beings is to make a phone call.
Not to mention, that if this bill passes we will have socialized medicine - no more personal choice as to what health insurance you want. If you're a Senior citizen and you need health care, you will have to go before a board that will decide if you're worth it or not.
According to Yahoo News: "Beginning in 2014, most Americans would be required for the first time to purchase insurance or face penalties if they refused." Did you get that? We will be forced to pay for something that a) we may not be able to afford or b) that we may not even want in the first place! Don't forget that in the process we would be paying for other peoples' abortions, as well.
America, is that really what you want? A socialist country? Because if you vote yes, that's exactly what your going to get: the first step towards Communism.
Please phone, email, write, even drive down and tell your Representative in person, that you do not want this bill.

Happy 9th Birthday Gabriel!
I love you so much Gaby! Everyone - except Dad - voted that Mom would have a girl, and then out came a wee bonnie boy...you. Although we were momentarily stunned and slightly disappointed (after three brothers, Hannah and I wanted a sister), we soon realized that we wouldn't change you for anything. You are a bundle of energy, fun to be with, a hard worker, and you love God and life.
Don't I have a good looking little brother? ;) Forgive me, but he's just so cute I have to post all these pictures of him. :)

WFHS: Day 7
Since I now have my computer back with all the pictures and documents intact (thank you Lord!), I am posting the last day of Week in Feminine Hair Styles as promised. :)
The hair style is...*drum roll*...a braid. Yes, a plain ol' braid. Okay, well not that plain. I added twists to the sides and a little decoration.
As a bonus, here's my outfit: an oatmeal colored turtleneck sweater, my favorite jean skirt from Hannah Lise, and oh *cough* excuse my polk-a-dot socks. :P
