Prayers please
We just found out that my Aunt - who had breast cancer over ten years ago - now has cancer in her breasts, lungs, and bones. She is married with two kids, her daughter who is 21, and son who is 15 (I think). Please pray for her healing, strength for her and her family, and peace. Thank you.

I'm famous!
Not really, but very honored. Colleen Hammond, author of Dressing with Dignity, posted my essay "Why I dress Modestly" on her website. She took it off of Rose's website, Modesty Mall. Go check it out! Here is the direct link: http://www.colleenhammond.com/blog/2010/01/a-teen-says-why-i-dress-modestly/

GAH!!!
I forgot to post! *face palm* I'm so forgetful (especially with all the college/vocation/school work on my mind). I should have listened to Hannah and posted when she reminded me. However, better late than never...*drum roll*

March for Life
Sadly, I am not able to attend the March for Life this year; however I would like to invite all of you who aren't attending as well, to join me this week in prayer. We can unite our prayers with those in Washington who are speaking out for the unborn. Prayer is a mighty weapon, let us use it to its full capacity!
In addition, if you own a blog or a website, I invite you to put a Pro-Life picture on the top of your blog *points to top of my blog* to show your support. Let's show the world who we are, and that we will not compromise; we will not be silent! I posted some Pro-Life pics to help get you started. :)
Don't forget, you can watch the March live on EWTN on the 22nd. Here's the link: http://www.ewtn.com/tv/index.asp

The promised pictures...
Yes, I am posting the pictures from the ball. Know that I am not posting all the pictures, due to the fact that we took almost 100 of them; I just selected the ones I thought were the best.
Also, please head over to Rose's blog (after you're done viewing the pictures of course), and you can read her version of what happened on Saturday. A most enjoyable reading, I assure you.
Lastly, I forgot to mention yesterday that I was accepted to the Franciscan University of Steubenville! Apparently, my ACT scores were sent to them, which completed my application. Please pray that God will help me to decide if it His will that I go there or not.

This ^ is a picture of our Forum Family that attended the ball. In the back (from left to right): Lady Kathleen, Therese (His Little Butterfly), Lady Rose, Jo (March) D'Aubigne, and Lizzy. The front row (from left to right): Mystica, Lady Victoria (me), Yaviel. Ain't we a beautiful family? ;)
Claire doing my hair (she looks great as always, but not that great a pic of me. Oh well.)
The beautiful product :) Love ya Claire!

I can FINALLY, FREELY post!!!
Yes, I can openly post what I have been so excited about for two weeks! About two weeks ago some friends in IL invited my sister, dad, and me to a Father Daughter Ball which was to be held on the 16th (this past Saturday)from 3-9 pm. We immediately said yes. However, the reason for the secrecy was that our coming was going to be a surprise for Lady Rose and her two sisters Kathleen and Yaviel.
So, we made it to the Church Hall by 12:30, and we expected the girls by 1:45. The reason for our early arrival was partly due to the fact that there was a three hour session before the ball, when you can come and get your hair done (I was helping with the hair).
Around 1:45 we were alerted that the girls had arrived! Hannah and I quickly took our stations: I behind a wall and Hannah in the Ladies 'Powder Room'. The girls came in the Hall and were greeting everyone, then they proceeded to make their way to the Powder Room (which was behind me). With perfect timing, Hannah and I exited from our hiding places and confronted the girls with a, "Hi guys!" I have never seen faces with such shock - not surprise - sheer shock. After Rose got over her first shock attack, she proceeded to throw herself at me with a screech of what I presume was joy. ;) The surprise was a complete success! From what I can gather from Hannah, Yaviel just stood there for a while trying to comprehend the fact that we were actually standing in front of her. Both Rose and Yaviel were crying, and Yaviel for like the next hour would just randomly start giggling. It was a priceless moment.
The rest of the night was just as fun, with dancing, singing, fun and games. Not only did we surprise the girls, but were able to meet up with many of the girls from the Miles Jesu camp; it was almost a reunion of sorts. :P I was also able to meet Jo from the forum at last! It was a very special night, not only to spend with our friends, but with our wonderful, loving fathers. I love you Daddy! And a special thank you to Claire, Sarah, Veronica, and Mrs H. for coming up with the idea and for all the work they did for the Ball. You guys are the best!
That night we went over to our shocked friends' house to spend the night, and were up till 1:30, I believe. We went to Mass the next morning, had fun till about 4pm, and made our departure. We came home and are now thoroughly exhausted and sore from dancing, but have some great memories to treasure. I promise I will post pictures as soon as I upload them to my comp.
Talk to you all later!

What to post...
I hate it when I am out of ideas. *pouts* Did you all know that I'm turning 20 this year. Yeah, you read it right, I am going to be turning 20 years old. *screams in terror* I'm not ready to be 20!!! I feel like I'm still 16; I have a lot of growing up to do. Pray for moi.
Oh yes, I have a long overdo announcement to do. My brother Danny started a blog a little while back and I invite you all to check it out and please become one of his followers (that would make him so excited). He loves to write, make movies, and is very funny. Click here to go to A lot o' Celtic nonsense aboot...Nuttin'
Also, my dear friend Lady Rose has (and is still in the process of developing) a website about modesty. It is very educational and a pleasure to read. Please hop on over to The Modesty Mall and check it out!
God bless

A Teen Girl's Daybook
(Inspired by Rose, and I know this was supposed to be done on Saturday, but oh well. Deal with it.)
Date... Monday, January 11th, 2010
Starting time... 12:50 AM
Mood... Slightly depressed/overwhelmed
Outside my window... snow, snow, snow, and more snow
I'm thinking... That my Senior year is going to be harder than I thought
I'm reading... Death Comes to the Archbishop by Willa Cather (not very entertaining)
I'm listening to... my mom on the phone
I'm wearing... my black sweats, Survivor 73 t-shirt, and my dad's jacket (really warn jacket!)
Yesterday, I... actually did this hair style: < http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KqbAdvL8kME&feature=related >
I'm excited for... the weekend (yes, it is only Monday and I want the weekend)
I'm sad because... I have to finish this up so that I can sweep the floor
I'm hungry for... mint ice cream
The song stuck inside my head is... I Dreamed a Dream from Le Misarelab (sp?)
I want... to graduate
I love... God and peanut butter with chocolate
I loathe... bad movie endings
This week, my goal is... to finish all my school assignments for the week (and maybe another hair style)
Did I meet last week's goal?... yes, it was to try one new hair style
Ending time... 12:59
