I went to my first play in Michigan!!!! It was awesome! The title: "The Rose of Treason".

The Rose of Treason, a true story on the lives of Hans and Sophie Scholl is one of breathtaking courage, selflessness, and utter faith in what is right. The White Rose was a non-violent resistance movement in Nazi Germany which called for active opposition to dictator Adolph Hitler's regime. The group became known for an anonymous leaflet campaign, lasting from June 1942 until February 1943. The six core members of the group were arrested by the Gestapo and convicted of treason. Today, the members of the White Rose are honored in Germany as great heroes. This drama is an inspiring tribute to the goodness of humanity shining even in the darkest moments of history.

And darn it, I forgot to bring a camera! *hides in shame* It was performed by Homeschool Performing Arts (HPA) and it was cool because the actors' facial appearances resembled the real people!

Here is something sent to my family today. I love this clip!!!! Unfortunately I don't know how to post the video. *hits the computer* So here is the link:

That video is so sweet Vicki!! I loved it!! Just because people like Johnny are different, it doesn't mean they are any less of a person, or that they don't have anything less to give to others!!
